SW Chile hosts event celebrating the 10th Anniversary of the China–Chile Agreement for the Avoidance of Double Taxation

On 5 May, SW Chile hosted an event celebrating the 10th anniversary of the signing of the China–Chile Agreement for the Avoidance of Double Taxation.
Chinese Ambassador to Chile, H.E. Niu Qingbao, attended the event and delivered remarks. Ambassador Niu highlighted the important role the agreement has played in advancing bilateral trade and investment, and shared updates on China’s economic development, the 15th Five-Year Plan and the “Five Programmes” initiative for building a China–Latin America community with a shared future. He also encouraged both sides to continue deepening cooperation and creating new opportunities for shared growth.
Held in the form of a breakfast gathering and discussion session, the event brought together representatives from the political and business communities to reflect on a decade of collaboration and look ahead to the next chapter of China–Chile relations.
